Hassan has over 14 years experience and expertise in health financing reforms, quality management and improvement, health financing, including social health insurance schemes and universal health coverage programme evaluation & monitoring, and programme management.
Hassan is responsible for the accreditation, supervision, and monitoring of healthcare providers to assure their readiness and capacity to provide quality health services to members of health insurance scheme. He also manages the Results-based Financing Framework to support the contracting of healthcare providers.
Hassan holds a PhD in Health Economics from the University of Oslo, MBA from Taipei Medical University, Taiwan, and BSc in Nursing from University of The Gambia
